- All sockets are equipped with 230 V/50 Hz. International power adapters can be purchased from us.
- Additional beds
- We are happy to provide them for a fee.
- Additional blanket/pillow
- We will be happy to provide you with another duvet or pillow. Please inform us at the reception.
- Assessment

- Banks
- In Köngener Strasse 5 you will find the nearest Volksbank as well as a Kreissparkasse. Both also have an ATM.
- Bathroom stool
- Do you want a bathroom stool, no problem, just report to the reception.
- Beverages
- The mineral water in the room is for your free enjoyment. Other drinks can be purchased at a discounted price at the drinks buffet. Furthermore, we have a drinking water dispenser on the 1st floor.
- Bicycle
- You want to go on a bike tour and don't know your way around? No problem! Use our bike tour planner and plan your individual bike tour. Please note that charging e-bike batteries in the room is not permitted for insurance reasons. Use our bike garage for this purpose.
- Breakfast
- A rich breakfast awaits you in our breakfast room, the Bürgerstube from Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 08:00 to 10:00 a.m.
- Bus schedules
- Timetables for bus line 113 can be found on the 1st floor or you can use our digital VVS planner. A digital VVS app for your mobile phone can be found in the Play Store.
- Card payments
- In addition to cash, we also accept Master Card/ Eurocard, Visa Card and Euro-Cheque card. If you lose your card, please proceed as follows:
- Charger
- Chargers for your mobile phone or similar can be borrowed for a fee at the reception. We have the connector types Mcro-USB & Type C.
- Charging infrastructure
- Two e-charging stations for fast charging of your e-car are available in front of our apartment house. We have to charge you the kWh here at €0.52/kWh.

- From 2:00 PM Until 11:00 AM
- Children
- Children are very welcome. In addition to our playground, we also have painting materials, a children's menu with great dishes and toys ready for them at the drinks buffet.
- Cigarettes
- A cigarette vending machine is located on the corner of Jurastrasse and Kastellstrasse opposite our hotel. Smoking is not permitted in the hotel. Ashtrays are available in the outdoor area, e.g. on our terrace or balcony.
- Corona-pandemics
- At the moment there are no restrictions regarding the corona virus.
- Cots
- Are at your disposal. Please contact our housekeeping team or reception.
- Cover
- Additional woollen or duvet duvets are available upon request. Please contact our housekeeping team.
- Dates
- We are happy to help you make appointments, such as doctor, massage, bowling, miniature golf, bus rides, theater, wine tasting with cellar visit, city tours, etc. Further event tips with booking options can be found HERE.
- Departure
- On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate the room by 11:00 a.m. and return the room key to the counter in the Zeidlerstuben. Thank you very much.
- Doctor
- An up-to-date list of doctors, including an emergency service list, is posted at the front desk. If you do not feel well, please contact the reception immediately. The family doctor in Berkheim is Dr. Schöntal, telephone 0711/3451011. Outside of office hours, please contact the Esslingen Emergency Practice.
- Dogs/Pets
- We are also happy to welcome your four-legged friends.
- Escape routes
- On each inside of the room door or apartment door, there is a plan of the escape routes in case of fire. Please take a close look at the escape routes, use the escape staircase on the south wing if necessary. Fire extinguishers are located in every hallway and in the stairwell.
- Events
- In our guest and travel service you will find a section with event tips as well as with sights. Always up-to-date and with direct booking options. In addition, you will find numerous flyers and brochures in the foyer for event tips and information about Esslingen. Further suggestions are available at the reception.
- Excursions
- Tips can be obtained from our guest and travel service under the heading Event tips as well as sights or at the reception.
- Exits
- Please follow the instructions on the inside of your room or apartment door and in the corridors.
- Express Check out
- If you are in a hurry in the morning, you are welcome to pay your bill or leave your credit card number in the evening, then we will charge your card and send you the invoice as a PDF.
- Fax
- The fax number is 0711/3452854. We do not charge any fees for incoming faxes. Faxes sent by the front desk will be charged € 0.50 / fee unit.
- Festivities
- For special occasions, we will be happy to put together menu and buffet suggestions for you. We design every celebration, whether on a small or large scale and according to your wishes. Let Mr. or Mrs. Vogt advise you..
- Flowers
- Our receptionists will be happy to order flowers for you.
- Front door key
- Please take with you if you plan to leave or return later than 23:00 in the evening. Likewise on Sundays, as we have a day of rest here. For security reasons, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the loss of the room key must be reported immediately. In case of loss, we have to charge € 25.00 for a new identification medium.
- Garage
- Please contact the reception.
- Gas station
- You will find the nearest petrol station if you follow the signs to the A8.
- Hair dryer
- A hair dryer can be found in the bathroom next to the mirror.
- Hiking
- Admittedly, we are not a typical hiking destination. Nevertheless, there are numerous hiking trails, also in the surrounding area. To plan your hiking route, use our hiking route planner.
- Iron
- Do you need an iron to iron your laundry? No problem. We will be happy to help you out with a rental iron/board. Please contact the reception. If you need us to iron your clothes, please contact us to arrange the pick-up and drop-off times.
- Jogging/ Running
- You are welcome to download our running/jogging recommendations as a PDF to your mobile phone. We have worked out two recommendations for you here. 1. Running/jogging route of approx. 3km over the Zollberg, 2nd running/jogging route of approx. 7km over the schwarze Breite, 3rd bike tour to the Lindenhöfe in Unterensingen. Further suggestions are available at the reception or under our bike tour or hiking tour planner.
- Laundry
- We are happy to give your laundry to the laundry for washing and ironing. Please contact us so that we can inform you about the pick-up and drop-off.
- Left-luggage office
- For arriving and departing guests, we offer secure luggage storage at the reception, and you are welcome to leave your luggage at the reception after check-out.
- Leisure
- In our guest and travel service you will find a section with event tips as well as with sights. Always up-to-date and with direct booking options. In our foyer and on the 1st floor we have various flyers and brochures with information about Esslingen am Neckar. Among them you will find numerous sports activities and event tips. You are welcome to download our running/jogging recommendations as a PDF to your mobile phone. We have worked out three recommendations for you here.
- Linen change
- Linen change daily? Please contact us if you would like fresh bed linen. If you want new towels, just put the used ones in the shower tray.
- Lost property
- If you find any items, please hand them in at our reception. If you are looking for lost items, please also contact the reception.
- Luggage service
- We are happy to transport your luggage to your room or back to the car. Please contact our reception.
- Mini-bar
- Since we do not have a mini-bar, we offer you the opportunity to get discounted drinks at the drinks buffet during restaurant hours. You will receive a discount of 30% on the amount shown in our drinks menu. If necessary, please report to the drinks buffet on the ground floor.
- Money and valuables
- For insurance reasons, we ask you not to leave any valuables, jewelry or money open in your room or vehicle. We cannot be held liable for lost valuables in your room. Please leave your valuables in the safe at the reception.
- Newspapers and magazines
- The "Esslinger Zeitung" is available free of charge in the restaurant.
- Non-smoking room
- We kindly ask you not to smoke in the rooms. Your new tenants and we thank you. At the end of the hallway in the south wing you will find ashtrays by the fire escape where you can smoke. If you still smoke in the room, we reserve the right to charge you up to €250 for final cleaning in addition to the damage incurred.
- Parking place
- The parking spaces next to and opposite our house are available free of charge.
- Payment
- Please pay your hotel bill at the reception. In addition to cash, we also accept Master Card/ Eurocard, Visa Card and Euro-Cheque card.
- Pharmacy
- Turn right from the hotel entrance and turn left at the intersection. After the center of the village you will find the Rain pharmacy on the right side. You can find the pharmacy emergency service HERE.
- Photocopies
- We are happy to make copies for you for a small extra charge. Please contact the reception.
- Pillow
- We are happy to offer you an additional pillow. You can choose between the dimensions 80x80cm, 40x80cm and 40x40cm. Please ask our reception.
- Playground
- In the hotel garden we have set up a children's playground for our little guests. We ask you to supervise your children and accept no liability.
- Please do not disturb
- Please hang the designated sign on the outside door if you do not want to clean the room yet or if you do not want to be disturbed.
- Post
- Your incoming mail will be delivered to your room at approximately 14:00. You can drop off your outgoing mail at the reception.
- Quality
- We are classified with 3 stars according to the German hotel classification and always strive to comply with the specified standards and to fulfill the wishes of our guests. If a service is not to your satisfaction, please notify us at the reception or with the nearest employee in the house. We make every effort to remedy any defects as quickly as possible. Please inform us immediately and not only on departure, it is in our interest that you feel comfortable in our house.
- Reception
- Our reception is open from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. If you would like to leave before 06:30 in the morning, we ask you to pay your bill the day before. In this case, we will be happy to prepare a small packed lunch for you instead of breakfast.
- Reservation
- Take advantage of the opportunity to book your next stay in our hotel directly with us. Please contact our reception team or book directly via our homepage.
- Restaurant
- Our restaurant with regional specialties is open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. We would be happy to reserve a table for you. Hot meals are served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Afterwards we have a small night card for you. Please note that our restaurant is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
- Safe
- We are happy to keep your valuables under lock and key in the hotel safe at the reception.
- Sewing service
- Oh God, the button is off! No problem. Please report to the reception on the ground floor, where you will receive a sewing kit for small repairs. We are happy to place major repairs in the hands of professionals.
- Shoe shine service
- Please use the shoe shine machine on the second floor. If you need special shoe shine material or a shelf for your hiking boots, please let us know your wishes.
- Shuttle Service

- Smoke detector
- Our hotel rooms and hotel corridors and apartments are equipped with smoke detectors. If the smoke detectors give an ALARM, please report this to us immediately or leave the house immediately to the designated collection areas.

- When the weather is nice, our terrace is open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. For lunch and dinner you can choose delicacies from our excellent "Taste the South" menu. In the summer months we offer barbecue and BBQ evenings on our terrace. More information can be found HERE.

- Hygiene items such as toothbrushes or razors are available for you at the reception.
